About the role
- Prepare and monitor OPEX and CAPEX budgets for generation assets.
- Conduct economic feasibility analyses and asset life-cycle studies.
- Monitor actual vs. planned costs, identify variances and propose corrective actions.
- Support the definition of financial and performance indicators for asset management.
- Integrate financial information with technical systems (SAP, IBM, BI).
- Prepare management reports and presentations for committees and senior leadership. Create dashboards in PowerPoint (pptx) and BI with speed and reliable information.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, ISO 55001:2024 standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and optimization of financial processes.
- Consolidate financial and technical data to support asset governance.
- Develop risk and return analysis models for investments.
- Support internal and external audits related to costs and investments.
- Contribute to the development of the SAMP (Strategic Asset Management Plan) and asset management plans from a financial perspective.
- Implement controls and tools for efficient asset lifecycle management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or Engineering. Postgraduate degree in Finance.
- Knowledge of Asset Management and Strategic Planning is a plus.
- Advanced PowerPoint (pptx) and Excel; Power BI development and use; SAP (PM and FI/CO modules). Data analysis and financial modeling.
- Knowledge of performance indicators (LCOE, IRR, NPV).
- Practical, solid experience with cost management, investments and FP&A is a differential.
- Intermediate English.
- Knowledge of the energy sector.
