About the role
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy
- Source and convert new clients for our electricity supply offerings, leveraging your existing network and developing new accounts
- Manage the full sales cycle: qualification, meetings, needs analysis, value proposition, negotiation, and closing
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers (executive management, procurement, etc.)
- Establish partnerships that support commercial development (referral partners, energy ecosystem players)
- Report market signals from the field (customer needs, competitive dynamics, price/contract trends) to inform company strategy
- Contribute to the implementation of commercial tools and processes (CRM, pipeline management, KPIs, forecasting) to support growth
Requirements
- 10+ years of B2B business development experience, ideally in electricity supply or related services
- Strong experience with the industrial segment (SMEs / mid-caps / large accounts) and complex sales cycles
- Active network of clients and decision-makers (energy buyers, industrial management, executive teams, etc.)
- Solid understanding of electricity-related issues: contracts, pricing, consumption profiles, securing supply, and decarbonization
- Proven ability to open accounts, negotiate, and close significant contracts
- Comfortable working in a high-growth environment, with strong autonomy and a “build” mindset
- Excellent interpersonal skills, active listening, strong commercial instinct, and a consultative approach
- Sensitivity to energy transition challenges and interest in innovative solutions
