About the role
- AuditBoard is the leading audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform serving Fortune 500 customers
- Senior Deal Desk Manager supporting all commercial-related activities including deal structuring, pricing, contract creation, review and approval for quotes
- Provide expert guidance to Sales and Customer Success on deal structuring, pricing, redlining and contract management
- Ensure deals are structured and processed efficiently and align with company policies
- Model deal scenarios in Google Sheets and Salesforce CPQ
- Represent the Deal Desk in forecast calls with senior sales leadership
- Review, interpret, and confirm contract terms and conditions; work with finance and legal to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Draft, modify, and finalize contracts for new, add-on, and upsell Cloud Subscription Services
- Review and approve deals for customers and prospects
- Anticipate issues and resolve them using professional judgment, company policies, and procedures
- Handle day-to-day queries from Sales and Account Management on quoting tools and CRM; participate in testing quoting tool enhancements
- Support Sales enablement through training and independently drive efficiency and process improvements
Requirements
- Requires a 4-year college degree
- A minimum of 5 years professional experience in Deal Desk or Sales Operations in a SaaS company
- A bias towards velocity
- A “Customer First” perspective and ethos
- Experience supporting a high volume of global / multinational customer and deals
- Outstanding business partnering skills – able to interact positively with the Sales Field and influence business outcomes
- Excellent understanding of most Deal Support/Commercial topics (pricing, deal structuring, contracting etc.)
- Familiarity with SaaS revenue recognition policies a plus
- Excellent understanding of commercial terms and conditions
- The ability to acquire knowledge of our products and the value they provide to AuditBoard’s Customers
- The ability to acquire a thorough understanding of AuditBoard’s corporate goals and objectives and consider these goals/objectives within the design of offers
- Ability to organize, prioritize, complete activities and meet deadlines on a daily basis
- Preferred: Proficiency with Google Suite, Slack, Windows, Excel, and Word; CRM systems – AuditBoard, SFDC and CPQ experience a plus
