About the role
- Be a trusted advisor and thought leader to managers and an advocate for employees
- Support leaders up to Sr. Director to help navigate them to lead their teams with accountability and excellence
- Provide coaching and consultative support to employees & managers in the business units you support
- Help leaders through performance management, with a focus on accountability and enabling success
- Guide managers through HR policy interpretation and application (time off, leave of absence, etc.)
- Collaborate with teams across the People organization to lead People cycles throughout the year including employee engagement surveys, compensation reviews, and learning and development programming
- Drive a high-performance culture and provoke positive change in people management
- Be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach and be obsessed with identifying areas of improvement and executing on solutions
Requirements
- 4+ years of progressive HR experience with a minimum of 2 years in an HRBP capacity in a high-growth and/or tech environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Innately curious with a desire to challenge yourself and grow
- Ability to coach through a variety of problems, leading with curiosity and active listening
- Ability to drive through ambiguity and deliver solutions with autonomy
- Builder mentality with adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to ensure the right outcomes for our customers
- The ability to effectively partner with cross-functional partners (e.g. Finance, Legal) and the broader People team (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning & Development) to build a better employee experience for employees
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; problem-solving skills are a must
- Thoughtful discretion and hyper-sensitivity around confidential and sensitive information
