About the role

  • The Sales Account Executive (SAE) is responsible for acquiring new Atrium clients and retaining existing ones by executing the Atrium Sales Process.
  • This includes securing introduction calls, diagnosing client needs, presenting tailored Atrium solutions, conducting formal presentations and demonstrations, providing quotes, and finalizing agreements.
  • Additionally, SAEs manage client relationships through renewals, upselling, and periodic health checks to ensure client satisfaction.
  • This role requires strong communication and organization skills, with occasional travel (up to 25%).
  • Develop and maintain written account plans to retain and grow strategic client relationships, including revenue and relationship goals.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key clients to ensure satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and document client feedback.
  • Drive and process orders for Atrium and third-party add-ons.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Account Executive or Sales Account Manager.
  • Hands-on experience in sales with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • 3+ years’ experience in software-as-a-service (SaaS) sales.
  • Preferably, experience in higher education campus card (One Card) business, including dining and retail operations, meal plans, declining balance accounts, attendance tracking, and physical access control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deliverables effectively.
  • Proficiency in time management, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Competence in tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, Slack, Google Suite, Atrium’s CRM, and Gmail.
  • BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field.
