About the role
- Lead the team behind ATPCO’s Product Catalog platform
- Champion best engineering practices (Test-driven development, CI/CD, Microservices)
- Collaborate on system architecture with architects and senior engineers
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers; provide career development and performance management
- Build and maintain a high-performing engineering team
- Work closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver products
- Manage stakeholder expectations with regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities
- Oversee operational health of products ensuring high availability, security, and performance
- Continuously assess and improve software engineering and delivery practices
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a software engineering management role
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
