About the role
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to design, build, and optimise scalable data solutions across complex ETL pipelines
- Develop and enhance Ab Initio components, manage AutoSys job schedules, and ensure seamless integration and high performance across all data processes
- Support production deployments, troubleshoot issues, and uphold strong quality and coding standards throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into high-quality data solutions while ensuring reliability, performance, and seamless system integration
- Analyse data needs and collaborate with analysts, developers, and architects to design scalable solutions on the Ab Initio platform
- Optimise existing Ab Initio processes for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot AutoSys job failures, dependency issues, and workflow breakdowns.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience with AutoSys job scheduling
- Strong proficiency with Ab Initio (GDE, Co>Op, Conduct>It, Control Center)
- Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux, Shell Сscripting, and strong SQL skills for validation, tuning, and debugging
- Experience working in large enterprise data environments with complex data flows
- Proven analytical/problem-solving ability and capability to work independently while mentoring junior team members
- Experience in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
