About the role
- Drive new business opportunities while supporting and expanding existing client accounts, particularly, but not limited to, public sector.
- Take full responsibility for incoming orders, sales growth, and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. Ensure consistent achievement of sales and revenue targets.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within targeted sectors. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and aligning Atos solutions accordingly.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of the entire offer process, incorporating all relevant customer information and requirements.
- Actively participate in the internal approval processes. Collaborate with pre-sales and other delivery units to assess opportunities, risks, and craft winning proposals.
- Organize and lead contract negotiations, providing solution-oriented responses to customer inquiries and needs, while ensuring alignment with approved offer frameworks.
- Accurately map and maintain business opportunities and pipeline data in Atos' CRM system, ensuring transparency and up-to-date information.
- Conduct regular analysis of the market, customers, and competitors. Provide insightful reporting on business development progress and create qualified decision-making templates.
- Initiate and participate in the execution of sales and marketing campaigns to drive awareness and generate new business opportunities.
Requirements
- 10-12+ years of experience in sales, business development within the information technology sector, with a focus on project, solution, or systems integration sales.
- Proven experience working with system integrators and managing clients across multiple industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong technical understanding of information and communication technologies and experience designing flexible, cross-portfolio solutions based on customer needs.
- Ability to set, track, and exceed sales targets, with a structured and goal-oriented approach to managing client engagements and business opportunities.
- Experience in informal leadership, managing interdisciplinary teams for complex projects and bids.
- Strong customer orientation with a high level of initiative and lateral thinking to design creative solutions for clients.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders in a clear and target-oriented manner.
