About the role
- Design and implement solutions in Core Mainframe Technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and tasks
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues in existing mainframe applications
- Support the migration and re-hosting of applications to the Raincode platform
- Conduct testing and provide defect fixes during SIT/UAT phases
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Core Mainframe Skills – COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM
- Mainframe experience with hands-on knowledge in Batch as well as online is Must
- Nice to have IMS DB/DC, Easytrieve, Assembler and Datacom
- REXX and CLIST knowledge will be added advantage
- Should have experience working in mainframe re-hosting/migration projects to Raincode platform
- Familiarity and hands-on experience in Raincode platform to make code changes,compile,debug and unit-test batch and online
- Should be able to perform impact analysis and understand technical design
- Should have experience on working on Enhancement projects and fair knowledge of SDLC process
- Perform SIT/UAT defect analysis and fix the same
- Should be aware of Agile methodologies
- Telecom domain knowledge is added advantage.
- Good communication skills
- Should have ability to work independently
