About the role
- Work directly with Site Managers to accomplish day-to-day tasks
- Receive delivered material and distribute around the job site
- Document what materials were received and their locations
- Monitor progress and report on job sites
- Travel to job sites throughout the lower mainland
- Participate in physically demanding activities and may require overtime
Requirements
- Valid class 5 drivers license with a clean driving abstract
- Strong information organization skills
- Keen eye for fine details
- Recognizing key information in new and varying formats
- Gathering information for forecasting completions and predicting roadblocks
- General usage of a tablet for recording and reporting information
- Calm under pressure of demanding deadlines and difficult personalities of site superintendents
- Communicating information effectively and efficiently
- Strict adherence to safety protocols that vary from job-site to job-site
- References related to previous experience with construction or material handling are also a distinguishing asset.
