About the role

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for web and API-based applications
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing using manual and automated approaches
  • Build, maintain, and optimize automation test scripts using Selenium and Playwright
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage
  • Identify, log, and track bugs through defect management tools
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in test processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Conduct API testing using Postman and REST Assured
  • Write test reports and document test results effectively

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing
  • Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, testing life cycle, and defect management
  • Experience in automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright
  • Proficient in programming/scripting languages: Java and JavaScript
  • Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) principles
  • Hands-on experience with TestNG, Maven, or similar frameworks
  • Experience in API testing using Postman and REST Assured
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control systems, defect management software (e.g., Git, Azure Dev Ops)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
