About the role
- Establish, develop and embed a central Project Management Office (PMO) as an executive staff function
- Support the executive management in translating the company strategy into programs, projects and concrete actions
- Structure, prioritize and steer strategic projects and initiatives
- Develop and maintain a company-wide project landscape (roadmaps, milestones, dependencies)
- Ensure consistent project methods, standards and tools across the organization
- Monitor project progress with regard to schedule, costs, quality and target achievement
- Conduct project and portfolio controlling including status reports, decision papers and management dashboards
- Identify risks, deviations and goal conflicts and derive appropriate measures
- Facilitate project steering committees and workshops
- Work closely with executive management, team leaders and business units
- Support change and transformation projects
- Develop suitable KPIs to measure success
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in project management, PMO or strategy-related roles
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects
- Strong understanding of business processes, organizational structures and financial/business contexts
- Confident use of project management methods (traditional, hybrid or agile)
- Experience in project and portfolio controlling
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
- Experience in management consulting is an advantage
