About the role

  • Design roadway works (alignment/geometry, earthworks, drainage, signage, etc.).
  • Perform calculations and verifications required to ensure sound design of roadway structures.
  • Review pavement, marking, and signage plans to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Prepare quantity estimates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Licensed member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the design of road infrastructure in Quebec.
  • Proficiency with OpenRoads Designer.
  • At least 8 years' experience on projects for the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité Durable du Québec (Quebec Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility).
  • Ability to communicate in French (spoken and written).
