About the role

  • Perform the design of road works (alignment/geometry, earthworks, drainage, signage/traffic control, etc.).
  • Perform calculations and checks necessary to ensure a sound design of road works.
  • Review pavement, marking, and signage plans to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Prepare quantity estimates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in road infrastructure design in Quebec.
  • Experience working on projects for the Quebec Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable (Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Able to communicate in French (spoken and written).
