About the role

  • You will be working on nationally significant and high-profile infrastructure, building and environmental projects in the UK and overseas.
  • Working as an integral part of the Acoustics team.
  • Advising clients and gaining experience of acoustic measurement techniques and modelling software.
  • Through working closely with an experienced team, you will be mentored to develop your working knowledge of the relevant Design Standards and Guidelines.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of Track Alignment design standards.
  • Proficient in developing track alignment design using C3D and Power Rail Track or Open Rail designer.
  • Able to create corridor and generate cross sections with basic track components (.pkt).
  • Able to create models, drawings, plan and profile, cross sections using Civil 3D and MicroStation.
  • Able to develop design track alignment design for plain line.
  • Able to develop the drawings.
  • Able to understand Multi Discipline interfaces and its impacts to track design.
  • Able to work on new track projects, renewal schemes.
  • Working knowledge in regression analysis through Power Rail Track or Open Rail designer.
  • Able to perform calculations, write technical reports accurately under minimum guidance from seniors.
  • Knowledge of CAD/ BIM standard.
  • Good working knowledge on Microsoft excels, ProjectWise and ACC.
