About the role

  • Responsible for utilization of engineering personnel
  • Technical integration with Bruce Power and head office
  • Site technical point of contact with Bruce Power
  • Ensure qualified staff are working on the project
  • Provide guidance, technical insights, supervision and feedback to Engineering Managers
  • Oversight of technical deliverables budget, schedule and quality
  • Ensure final deliverables meet customer requirements and nuclear codes
  • Review and approve key technical documentation
  • Propose improvements in organization functioning

Requirements

  • University degree in an applicable field of engineering or science
  • At least 15 years of applicable engineering experience
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario or eligible to obtain within 6 months of hiring
  • Sound knowledge of multiple engineering fields and nuclear technologies
  • Demonstrated skills in management of engineering scopes on complex technical projects
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills in team member development
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent client focus and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen with strategic planning and negotiation skills
