About the role

  • Supervise and mentor a multi‑regional team of environmental professionals and technical staff.
  • Understand client objectives, technical protocols, and applicable regulatory frameworks to guide project execution.
  • Act as a primary interface between clients, internal project teams, and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage projects by developing technical programs, coordinating resources, overseeing budgets and schedules, and ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
  • Grow revenue by strengthening existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Identify project risks and develop strategies to ensure quality, profitability, and compliance.
  • Promote and uphold quality assurance programs, corporate policies, and health and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Toxicology, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 15 years of experience conducting human health and ecological risk assessments, including at least 2 years in a leadership, mentoring, or staff management capacity
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience supervising and mentoring multidisciplinary technical teams and providing senior-level technical direction
  • Strong knowledge of provincial and federal risk assessment guidance and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingualism in French is considered an asset.
