About the role
- Lead studies on mine water management
- Develop water balances and perform water quality analyses
- Develop models to estimate water quality
- Prepare design criteria and mass balances
- Collaborate with other disciplines involved in the project
- Participate in project meetings
- Manage project studies and maintain communications with the client
- Travel internationally for short-term assignments
Requirements
- University degree (Bachelor’s minimum) in civil, mechanical, or chemical engineering with a specialization in water management and/or water treatment
- 5 to 10 years of experience in studies and design of water management and/or water treatment systems for industrial and/or mining projects
- Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics is an asset
- Proficiency with PipeFlo is an asset
- Proficiency with GoldSim is an asset
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written)
