About the role
- Own and direct a team of Electrical & ICA engineers for delivery of technical design work on complex projects
- Manage time and budgets to key project milestones
- Direct and review technical deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams and Control Network Architecture
- Provide technical leadership into project design deliverables for ICA aspects
- Collaborate with clients and provide guidance to Senior and Principal colleagues
- Lead growth of local Electrical & ICA team
- Provide technical support and direction for bid proposals
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams for integrated design solutions
Requirements
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Chartered Engineer
- Proven experience in leading or directing an Electrical & ICA engineering design delivery team
- Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in ICA designs
- Extensive knowledge of water company design codes and standards
- Strong awareness of HAZOP assessments, lightning strike risk assessments, earthing and bonding, lighting designs, DSEAR and ATEX installation practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal technical guidance
- Experience in industrial and process environment is essential
- Strong communication skills
