About the role
- Coordinate or manage a team of Electrical & ICA engineers for delivery of technical design work
- Manage time and budgets of the Electrical & ICA team to key project milestones
- Responsible for leading and producing technical deliverables
- Provide technical input into project design deliverables
- Collaborate with clients, operational, project, or service activities
- Provide mentorship to less experienced colleagues
- Work independently with minimal technical guidance
- Provide technical support for bid proposals
- Contribute to business development initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Chartered Engineer
- Proven experience in coordinating or managing an Electrical engineering design delivery team
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Electrical designs
- Practical knowledge of water company design codes and standards
- Good awareness of HAZOP assessments, lightning strike risk assessments, earthing and bonding, lighting designs, DSEAR and ATEX installation practices
- Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages
- Experience in industrial and process environment
