About the role

  • Direct and oversee the assignments, activities, and resources of a Market Sector housed within a client-facing Business Unit (BU).
  • Provides leadership, direction, and guidance to other Division Managers, Project Directors, and Project Managers within the Rail and Transit (R&T) Sector.
  • Ensures the proper execution of projects within the assigned Region.
  • Provides expert input for nationwide opportunities and projects.
  • Responsible for annual revenues between $10M-$20M.
  • Develop and implement strategy and encourage cross-selling.
  • Ensure client relations, quality control, safety, and financial performance for the assigned Sector.
  • Report Regional Sector progress against developed strategy no less than quarterly.
  • Works with the Multi Market Solutions (MMS) management teams to ensure effective delivery against company goals and priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in field of practice
  • Post-graduate degree preferred
  • Management coursework and/or MBA a plus
  • 15+ years of experience since B.S., with at least five of these years in a senior operating management position
  • Excellent technical and interpersonal skills,
  • Proven ability to manage large scope operations and provide leadership to multiple levels of management.
  • Must have business vision, excellent communication skills, and be able to represent the firm effectively to staff, clients, and the community in general.
  • Promote high performance and consistent accountability at all levels within the Sector.
  • Job also requires ability to plan, prioritize and supervise the work of others, review documents and schedules, evaluate alternatives, and devise appropriate solutions.
