About the role
- Oversee our channels and content for the UK&I internal comms team.
- Gather insightful analytics and report the effectiveness of our internal communications channels.
- Work collaboratively as part of a global team of internal and external communicators and marketeers.
- Managing editorial calendar.
- Connect with Creative team to align visual support across messages and channels.
- Create content across multiple channels as required.
- Devise effective measure and reporting mechanisms and contribute to regular reporting on functional as well as tactical performance.
- Ensure that practices, procedures, methodologies and tools are used effectively so that the objectives set out in the business plan are attained.
Requirements
- Degree educated or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline would be preferred but is not essential.
- Professional qualification from a relevant discipline would be preferred but is not essential.
- Experience in internal communications and/or employee engagement, ideally gained within a large matrix organisations.
- Creating and managing editorial calendar, creating content across multiple channels.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint intranets.
- Experience evaluating and measuring the impact of internal communications channels, systems and campaigns to drive improvement and new ways of working.
- Highly organised and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with demonstratable ability to think strategically and effectively plan content across multiple channels.
- Confident to advise others (including senior stakeholders) on internal communications best practice.
- Able to build effective working relationships and influence people.
- High energy, with the drive and enthusiasm to make things happen.
- Self-motivated and able to take ownership of projects with limited direction.
- Able to work effectively with ambiguity and manage stakeholders during periods of change.
- Knowledge of the markets/industries that the organisation operates in.
