About the role

  • Executing and steering technical delivery of projects (process safety scope)
  • Collaborating with other disciplines on design projects
  • Producing or providing input to proposals
  • Providing quality technical advice to clients and internal teams
  • Overseeing and coaching juniors (delegating tasks and checking calculations and deliverables)

Requirements

  • University Degree in an appropriate science, engineering, or equivalent experience and qualification
  • Experience working in highly regulated process and energy related industries
  • Ability to provide a customer-focused service
  • Motivated to meet delivery/cost targets without compromising quality
  • Prior experience in consequence modelling software for Major Accident Hazard scenarios
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements associated with major hazards, examples of which may include COMAH & DSEAR
  • Ability to prepare proposals, coordinate bids/proposals and win new projects
  • Proven collaboration skills to work within multi-disciplinary teams
