About the role
- Coordinate or manage a team of Civil Water engineers for delivery of technical design work
- Responsible for producing and reviewing technical deliverables such as design reports, drawings, calculations
- Provide technical input into project design deliverables for Civil Water aspects of complex multi-disciplinary projects
- Collaborate with clients and project management team to manage time and budgets
- Provide mentorship to less experienced colleagues
- Work independently with minimal technical guidance
- Provide technical support for bid proposals
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design
Requirements
- A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Chartered or Incorporated Civil Engineer
- Proven experience in coordinating or managing a Civil Water engineering design delivery team for a design consultancy
- Proven experience in collaborating with Contractors across the full project lifecycle
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in risk assessment, quality control, design management
- Proficiency in analytical software and tools such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit, ArcGIS, MS Suite, Power BI
- Experience in the Water market is preferred
