About the role
- Oversee the operations, assignments, activities, and resources for the SW FL region
- Manage project execution, client relations, and business growth
- Provide leadership, direction and guidance to managers and staff
- Responsible for achieving business growth, quality, client satisfaction, and project profitability goals
- Lead a diverse team of CEI staff
- Monitor and identify staffing needs
- Conduct semi-annual performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback
- Responsible for the administration and observation of construction activities
- Represent the firm to the construction project group
- Review financial performance of projects
- Participate in annual and strategic plans for the area of responsibility
- Maintain contacts with current and prospective clients
- Conduct contract negotiations with clients and subconsultants
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in field of practice
- Post graduate degree preferred
- Management coursework and/or MBA a plus
- 15 years of experience since B.S.
- At least three years in project management or operational management responsibilities
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration required
- Florida P.E. license must be obtained within six months of employment
