About the role
- Produce 3D models in Revit or Advanced Steel or Smartplant 3D
- Generate 2D drawings from 3D models
- Prepare 2D drawings using AutoCAD or Microstation
- Develop the 2D drawings of structure/foundation plans, sections, elevations as per engineer design sketches
- Develop the details as per engineer design
- Prepare the material take-off from 3D models and/or drawings
- Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from engineers to ensure conform to design concepts
- Other duties as applicable.
Requirements
- College certification or BS (preferred but not required) in Civil Engineering specialized on structural engineering
- Minimum of 8 years of design and drafting experience in Structural Engineering
- Experience in 2D and 3D designs for concrete foundation, concrete structure, steel structure with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or Smartplant 3D
- Excellent communication skills in French
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other disciplines.
