About the role
- Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design
Requirements
- Chartered Civil Engineer
- Interest in developing into the role of Reservoir Supervising Engineer
- Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design
- Knowledge of hydraulic and/or geotechnical engineering as applied to the management and design of dams and reservoirs and their associated hydraulic structures
- In depth knowledge of current UK design standards, guidance and working practices including the Reservoirs Act
