About the role

  • Join the PPM Infrastructure team in Dublin and work on prestigious construction projects across rail, highways, utilities, energy, and aviation.
  • Manage delivery, win new work, and maintain high technical standards.
  • Foster collaboration and align with AtkinsRéalis digital vision.
  • Work closely with strategic partners, clients, and internal teams to drive success.
  • Be a member of the PPM Infrastructure Cost & Estimating management team responsible for growing the existing team and building sustainable relationships with infrastructure clients.
  • Enhance Cost Management capability including the development and use of Power-BI, PRISM, Oracle and other related software.
  • Contributing to best practices and drive technical excellence and service innovation.
  • Unlock talent and develop next generation of leaders.
  • Deliver excellent client service through quality assurance and regular client care.
  • Develop, mentor, and support your teams on project / technical delivery.

Requirements

  • A Cost Management or Quantity Surveying Qualification or similar.
  • Relevant experience in infrastructure.
  • A strong knowledge of NEC and FIDIC forms of contract.
  • Recognised expertise in Cost Management services across infrastructure (either Rail, Highways, Water & other utilities, Aviation or Energy).
  • An excellent understanding of industry benchmarks / best practices, Work Breakdown Structures and methods of measurements (e.g. RMM, MMHW etc).
  • Strong network within the infrastructure sector.
  • Proven track record of service innovation, technical excellence and exceptional service delivery.
  • Technical ability to challenge engineering teams and identify/cost efficient design solutions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the tasks facing transport sector and the opportunities available.
  • Commercial and quantity surveying skills or Finance skills, with full working knowledge of the construction industry.
  • A high level of understanding and the ability to develop performance measurement of projects using Earned Value Management (EVM) and similar techniques.
  • Major project/programmes of work experience.
