Assist engineers and discipline leads with day-to-day tasks
Contribute to conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases for CANDU and other nuclear electrical systems under the supervision of a P.Eng
Support the development of electrical engineering deliverables for nuclear and conventional systems, ensuring alignment with AtkinsRéalis/Candu Energy Quality Assurance Programs and project requirements
Interface with multidisciplinary teams and project sectors (e.g., Document Control, Project Management, field teams) to coordinate assigned tasks and facilitate document reviews and RFI responses
Attend technical and coordination meetings as needed, and contribute to a collaborative, open-minded, and positive team environment
Requirements
Solid foundation in engineering, physics, and mathematics
Basic knowledge of analytical and design tools such as MATLAB, ETAP, and MathCAD
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Prior experience in the nuclear industry is considered an asset
Demonstrated ability to resolve engineering issues using fundamental technical knowledge
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing
Proven ability to interact professionally with colleagues, clients, and contractors
Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills
Currently enrolled in Electrical engineering/Engineering Science/Math Program with an accredited Canadian University
Ability to obtain Security Clearance is mandatory
