Lead development and execution of category strategies for IT and professional services aligned with enterprise goals
Drive sourcing standard practices and enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives
Conduct spend analysis and identify opportunities to consolidate global spend for value creation
Negotiate complex supplier agreements to secure favorable terms, reduce costs, and manage risk
Monitor and report on KPIs including cost savings, supplier performance, and sourcing efficiency
Analyze market trends, technology shifts, and pricing models to recommend sourcing strategies
Partner with IT, Finance, Legal, and business units to align sourcing strategies with priorities
Collaborate on source-to-pay policies, supplier qualification, and risk management
Oversee strategic supplier relationships and annual supplier performance reviews
Manage and mentor Category Managers and support procurement technology implementation
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA, JD, or equivalent graduate degree preferred)
8–10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement with a strong focus on IT software, IT consulting, IT hardware, and professional services
Proven success in developing and executing category strategies and managing complex supplier negotiations
Deep understanding of procurement cost structures, market dynamics, and technology trends in IT and professional services
Experience leading sourcing teams and managing enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives
Ability to conduct spend analysis, negotiate complex agreements, monitor KPIs, and partner with senior stakeholders
Experience managing and mentoring a team of 2–5 Category Managers
