About the role

  • Responsible for Application results across Athena's Broker network
  • Being the 'go to person' for your Brokers
  • Building and maintaining outstanding Broker relationships
  • Proactively managing a pipeline of Broker scenarios and submitted Application, constantly striving for the ultimate Broker & Customer Experience
  • Seeking out new Broker relationships, nurturing these relationships until they become vocal advocates for Athena; true raving fans
  • Running interactive Broker onboarding sessions to provide in depth knowledge of Athena, who we are, what we do, the Customers that are right for Athena, our product & process
  • Manage relationships with aggregators including partnership managers and state leaders
  • Internal decision making – contributing to discussions in Athena about opportunities and ways to improve Policy
  • Provide feedback and ideas to help ensure that Athena platforms are the best in the market

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar BDM role managing relationships with broker networks and individual brokers
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships – with brokers, credit teams and clients
  • Great focus on sales and conversion
  • Exceptional communication skills – clear, engaging, and professional
  • You're self motivated
  • You're focused on continuous development
  • You're a critical thinker and confident in decision making
