About the role
- Responsible for Application results across Athena's Broker network
- Being the 'go to person' for your Brokers
- Building and maintaining outstanding Broker relationships
- Proactively managing a pipeline of Broker scenarios and submitted Application, constantly striving for the ultimate Broker & Customer Experience
- Seeking out new Broker relationships, nurturing these relationships until they become vocal advocates for Athena; true raving fans
- Running interactive Broker onboarding sessions to provide in depth knowledge of Athena, who we are, what we do, the Customers that are right for Athena, our product & process
- Manage relationships with aggregators including partnership managers and state leaders
- Internal decision making – contributing to discussions in Athena about opportunities and ways to improve Policy
- Provide feedback and ideas to help ensure that Athena platforms are the best in the market
Requirements
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar BDM role managing relationships with broker networks and individual brokers
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships – with brokers, credit teams and clients
- Great focus on sales and conversion
- Exceptional communication skills – clear, engaging, and professional
- You're self motivated
- You're focused on continuous development
- You're a critical thinker and confident in decision making
