About the role

  • The eBusiness Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients who operate digital businesses in areas such as commerce, content portals, intranets, and other transactional digital areas.
  • In addition to a strong understanding of digital technologies, this position demands strategic thinking, effective communication skills, and sales capabilities. Responsibilities include establishing, maintaining and growing client relationships, selling services and products to existing and new clients.
  • EBusiness Account Managers act as the primary contact for clients, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and implementing plans that align with business objectives, scoping work, estimating costs, and achieving sales. Performance is measured by metrics such as client retention, revenue growth, and customer trust.
  • Candidates for the eBusiness Account Manager position should have coordination and management skills and be able to represent the company in a professional, confident, and customer-focused manner to both existing and prospective clients and partners.
  • Consistently demonstrate passion and commitment to the digital economy through ongoing exploration, learning, knowledge seeking and sharing, and active engagement.

Requirements

  • Understand the technologies and infrastructures involved in building Web/mobile apps
  • Possess deep comprehension of the digital products and services ecosystem.
  • Maintain solid understanding of how ecommerce works and what contributes to a successful e-business.
  • Develop and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to gain a deep understanding of their business goals, challenges, and needs.
  • Act as the point of contact during challenging situations, addressing client concerns promptly and effectively. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for extending client footprint and upselling, ensuring clients are aware of our full range of products and services that can add value to their business.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to acquire new clients and expand our customer base.
  • Proactively engage with clients through various channels, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, emails, and virtual interactions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and success metrics to measure the overall health of client accounts (Project, Support and Client P&L). Work towards achieving high client satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Make sure that all payments will take place as contracted, and all invoices are issued in time in alignment with clients.
  • Keep internal tools and systems up to date with correct information (CRM, ERP etc.)
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to assign project and provision client contract signing, renewal and amendments.
  • Attend, participate and be active at industry events, conferences and meetups to network, build connections and expose ATCOMs profile.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Technology, Business or a related field.
  • 2-4 years' experience as an Account Manager and/or in a similar digital agency role.
  • Understanding of the digital transformation processes, concepts, methodologies and industry trends is desirable.
  • Verbal & written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills both in Greek and in English.
  • Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically under pressure.
  • Ability to handle crises and defuse challenging situations with diplomacy and professionalism.
  • Passion for building relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
