Lead the full lifecycle of business development, from identifying and qualifying opportunities to shaping win strategies
Create solutions-based capture plans that align with customer needs and maximize win probability
Oversee cross-functional teams through the pursuit lifecycle, managing proposal development, technical volumes, staffing strategies, and executive presentations
Conduct after-action reviews to refine techniques and improve future outcomes
Build and expand customer relationships through strategic account planning, call plans, and market engagement
Support pipeline growth by attending industry events, generating leads, and maintaining accurate CRM records
Refine win strategies, build key relationships, and collaborate across leadership to deliver impactful results
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 12 or more years' experience or equivalent (PhD and 5 years or master's and 8 years)
Proven success in full lifecycle business development and capture management
Experience with federal agencies and winning new business with DOD (DHA, DARPA, DTRA, etc.) and DHHS highly preferred
Experience leading cross-functional teams through opportunity identification, strategy development, and proposal execution
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, including competitive assessments, teaming strategies, and price-to-win methodologies
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build customer relationships and deliver executive presentations
Familiarity with federal contracting or life sciences services preferred
Proficiency with CRM tools
Experience attending industry events to support pipeline growth and market positioning
