About the role

  • Build and manage a high-performing, revenue-generating pipeline within an assigned territory.
  • Leverage an existing book of business to generate a minimum of $40K in monthly gross profit, with the ability to scale further.
  • Sell a full suite of logistics solutions including Domestic Freight, Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Warehousing, and Customs Brokerage.
  • Identify new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic account targeting.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and design tailored logistics solutions.
  • Develop and present competitive quotes, proposals, and pricing strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure smooth transition of accounts to operations and account management teams.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track pipeline activity, and produce reliable forecasts for revenue and growth.
  • Collaborate closely with internal operations and leadership to ensure service excellence and client retention.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of proven success in freight forwarding, logistics, or 3PL sales.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding revenue and GP targets.
  • Portable book of business with no active non-compete restrictions.
  • Strong consultative sales approach with a true hunter mentality.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and data-driven territory planning.
  • Strong understanding of logistics solutions and supply chain dynamics.
