About the role

  • Managing Complex Legal Matters: Oversee and manage complex legal projects, including litigation, regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution.
  • Providing Strategic Legal Counsel: Offer expert legal advice and guidance to senior leadership and company managers on a wide range of legal issues.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, and implement risk management strategies.
  • Contract Review and Negotiation: Review, draft, and negotiate significant corporate legal documents, contracts, and agreements to protect the organization’s interests.
  • Team Leadership and Internal Operations: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of experienced attorneys, and manage part of the internal operations of the Law Department.

Requirements

  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience
  • Trial experience at federal government agencies (e.g., DOJ, SEC, or US Attorney) or large law firms, or supervisory experience in large corporate litigation departments
  • Class-action, mass tort, or MDL experience are a plus
  • Law degree
  • Active license in good standing to practice law in assigned state
