About the role
- Support a large government program by developing and delivering executive-ready communications and presentations.
- This role partners with program leadership and stakeholders to translate complex information into clear narratives and polished visual products, while ensuring quality, compliance with branding/accessibility standards, and on-time delivery.
- Develop executive-ready briefings, presentations, and written communications in support of program priorities.
- Create original graphics, charts, and data visualizations; advise on layout and design to improve clarity and impact.
- Perform quality control to ensure deliverables are accurate, grammatically correct, and compliant with branding, formatting, and accessibility requirements.
- Support day-to-day communications operations and assist in executing communication strategies and initiatives.
- Draft and coordinate newsletters, announcements, internal updates, and other communication materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather inputs, confirm requirements, and align messaging to organizational goals.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to develop communication approaches and visual solutions to complex problems.
- Continuously improve and standardize templates and deliverables to increase consistency, readability, and visual quality.
Requirements
- Between seven (7) and nine (9) years of relevant experience (may be satisfied through a combination of education and work experience)
- Master’s degree = 6 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree = 4 years of experience or Associate’s degree = 2 years of experience
- Degrees must be from an accredited college or university.
- Knowledge management or learning development experience.
- Strong facilitation, program/activity management, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Expert-level PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills; Excel experience preferred (especially integrating with PowerPoint).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite to produce professional collateral.
- Ability to incorporate multimedia into Microsoft Office documents and presentations.
- Experience supporting communications, operations, or administrative teams.
- Familiarity with corporate communications processes.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork.
