About the role
- Sales employees will concentrate on acquiring new business and conducting customer visits in the field
- When not in the field, collaborate with team from assigned office location, if available
- Oversee project activities from client identification through invoicing, ensuring timely delivery
- Design, implement, and test solutions with deep product knowledge and system architecture skills
- Build strong client relationships, identify needs, and deliver tailored strategic solutions
- Manage billable projects, lead technical delivery, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain accurate timekeeping
- Engage in sales activities, prepare proposals, and develop strategic plans to generate business
- Contribute to knowledge repositories, mentor others, and provide inputs to strategic service development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired
- Over 10 years’ IT/Telecom experience commensurate with specific roles and responsibilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
- Polished consultative communication skills and relationship building
- Track record of a strong work ethic, professionalism, teamwork, self-directed, and resourcefulness
- Clear understanding of AT&T systems, policies, and federal government contract vehicles, especially EIS
- Comprehensive knowledge of sales principles, practices, products, and services
- Experience managing mid-size to large, complex sales with moderate supervision; responsible for an average quota or territory
- Advanced data analysis, creative problem-solving, and exercise of judgment
- Presentation and mentoring experience (leads presentations and mentors less experienced peers)
