About the role
- Design and operate secure network infrastructures for designated environments
- Manage LAN, WAN, firewall, VPN, and segmentation concepts
- Implement network segregation and access control to meet compliance requirements
- Monitor network performance, security events, and availability
- Support incident response and root-cause analysis
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standards
- Collaborate closely with Security and Production IT teams
Requirements
- Completed education in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or similar
- Proven Experience in a similar position
- Strong experience with enterprise networking and firewall technologies
- Knowledge of network security, segmentation, and zero-trust concepts
- Experience in regulated or high-security environments is an advantage
- Analytical, structured, and risk-aware mindset
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
