About the role
- The Senior Supply Chain Manager at Astreya is a strategic leadership role pivotal in driving end-to-end supply chain operations for our largest strategic account.
- This role demands more than just operational oversight; it requires a visionary leader capable of shaping supply chain strategy, owning client relationships, and structuring global teams for maximum efficiency.
- You will take full ownership of the ecosystem: from Order Management and 3PL coordination to high-level demand planning, ensuring that our logistics and inventory strategies align perfectly with the client’s fast-paced infrastructure requirements.
- Lead and mentor a global team of supply chain planners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
- Oversee the coordination of remote deployments and returns, managing Third-Party Logistics (3PL) partners to ensure seamless execution and adherence to SLAs.
- Develop and execute long-term supply chain strategies that align with company goals, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and process optimization.
- Collaborate with various departments to forecast demand accurately, ensuring supply plans align with customer needs and business goals.
- Champion the delivery of top-tier customer service throughout the supply chain. Ensure that all processes, from procurement to final delivery, are customer-centric and aim to exceed client expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are advantageous.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful supply chain strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team development and performance management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, including SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across various departments and levels of an organization.
- Excellent presentation skills for executive and client business reviews.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities, while maintaining a strong attention to detail and adhering to deadlines.
