About the role
- Lead the development of the regional marketing strategy and annual plan, ensuring alignment with global direction and in-market realities.
- Represent Europe within the global marketing organisation, advocating for regional needs, perspectives, and opportunities.
- Partner closely with senior executives and cross-functional leaders to shape plans, guide decision-making, and ensure marketing drives measurable value.
- Support both B2B and Growth Marketing across the region—aligning commercial needs, sales enablement, and customer engagement.
- Ensure global B2B2C strategies can be executed effectively in-region, navigating compliance, product, regulatory, and language considerations.
- Lead and develop a small, high-performing regional marketing team focused on execution, localisation, and in-country impact.
- Act as an orchestrator and connector—balancing consistency across Europe with the nuanced needs of individual markets.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Significant progressive marketing experience with regional or cross-functional leadership responsibilities.
- Experience from within insurance or financial services industries marketing add-on solutions products that sit alongside a partner’s core proposition.
- A track record of delivering effective marketing strategies and campaigns that translate business goals into measurable outcomes.
- Strong digital marketing knowledge and analytical capability to interpret data and inform decisions.
- Experience leading marketing programs across countries and cultures, ideally in B2B, B2B2C, and/or D2C environments.
- Excellent collaboration skills and a solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment.
- Strong communication, organisational, and project management capabilities.
- Experience working within a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in the local language.
- Ability to build trusted relationships at senior levels and adapt effectively to cultural differences across European markets.
