About the role

  • Manage a portfolio of private banking and commercial relationships to ensure strong credit quality and client retention
  • Analyze financial statements and cash flows to evaluate loan requests and recommend appropriate structures
  • Prepare credit presentations and opportunity memos, clearly outlining risks, mitigants, and profitability
  • Monitor portfolio performance, including loan repayments, financial condition, and covenant compliance
  • Partner with Relationship Managers and internal teams to support client needs and manage renewals
  • Conduct annual reviews and risk rating assessments to maintain accurate portfolio oversight
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities across banking services to deepen client relationships
  • Participate in client meetings and community activities to strengthen market presence

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of private banking or commercial banking experience with credit knowledge
  • 4+ years of private banking or commercial banking experience with credit knowledge (preferred)
