Marketing

• Works closely with operational leadership on maintaining successful property marketing efforts that supports overall leasing efforts of assigned portfolio.
• Responsible for leveraging centralized marketing team support, individual expertise, and preferred vendor partner services to develop and execute marketing plans and strategy for assigned portfolio.
• Responsible for analyzing ongoing leasing and marketing performance, as well as preparing and providing performance data reporting to operational leadership and clients.
• Responsible for recommending and overseeing the execution of long-term and short-term goals with timelines, benchmarks, and KPIs using data to drive decision making and recommendations.
• Provides leasing and marketing training and best practices to Regional Managers.
• Creates additional marketing ideas and campaigns for prospects, resident referrals, resident events, etc. to increase social media presence and drive qualified traffic to the communities.

Marketing Systems Associate

Controller

• Responsible for the supervision of the accounting for a specific team of accountants.
• Ensures the delivery of financial statements within the required client delivery date.
• Communicates regularly with clients to discuss the financial performance of their properties and respond to accounting questions.
• Responsible for the accuracy of financial statements prepared by a team of accountants.
• Supervises the accounting team in reviewing rent rolls, reconciling bank statements and monitoring monthly operating results against budget.
• Coordinate with operational team members to prepare and approve financial budgets for each property.
• Coordinate with the Controller and CFO and other Assistant controllers to establish and implement short/long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
• Participate in the hiring process and annual performance reviews for a team of Senior Accountants, Accountants, and Junior Accountants.
• Manage efficiency and make staffing recommendations in order to meet expected performance metrics.
• Support a team of assistant controllers in the responding to financial audit requests and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.

Assistant Controller

• Provide leadership and coordination of property financial statements for a group of clients
• Responsible for the supervision of the accounting for a specific team of accountants
• Ensures the delivery of financial statements within the required client delivery date
• Communicates regularly with clients to discuss the financial performance of their properties and respond to accounting questions
• Responsible for the accuracy of financial statements prepared by a team of accountants
• Supervises the accounting team in reviewing rent rolls, reconciling bank statements and monitoring monthly operating results against budget
• Coordinate with operational team members to prepare and approve financial budgets for each property
• Coordinate with the Controller and CFO to establish and implement short/long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

Client Services Representative

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and understanding of our products/services.
• Provide training sessions to clients on our platform, features, and best practices.
• Investigate and resolve client issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve complex client challenges.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate features and benefits to clients.
• Gather client feedback and insights to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance overall client experience.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Generate and analyze reports to track key performance indicators and provide insights to management.

Client Services Specialist

Accountant

• Initiate and post journal entries, prepare balance sheet account reconciliations, and research & resolve issues as needed
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for one or more regional offices, including performing variance analysis
• Research accounting guidance and prepare memos
• Assist in development of new processes and procedures to improve month end close and financial reporting, and improve coordination between property accounting and corporate accounting
• Assist in departmental initiatives to improve efficiency and utilization of available tools, including newly implemented ERP
• Analyze expenses and assist in budget preparation
• Prepare audit related requests and other duties as assigned
• Work directly with the Assistant Controller to develop new processes and procedures

Senior Accountant

Manager

• Oversee entire operations of a housing community portfolio including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management
• Supervise all aspects of the property and staff to ensure compliance with company policies, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff; manage performance and terminations; approve timesheets
• Achieve net operating income via cost control and revenue/leasing improvement; develop budgets and provide monthly financial evaluations
• Develop marketing plans, leasing strategies, and resident retention programs; handle resident complaints and show/lease units
• Ensure administrative & leasing reporting accuracy, manage emergencies, monitor maintenance, property appearance, and capital improvement suggestions
• Travel 25-50% annually for property visits, conferences, training sessions, or other business-related activities

Regional Manager, Student Housing

• Manage end-to-end migration processes for multi-property portfolios, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and client expectations are met.
• Serve as the point of contact for clients during migrations, facilitating communication, addressing concerns, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
• Partner with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Treasury, IT, Legal, Training, etc.) to align on requirements, remove roadblocks, and maintain visibility across all stakeholders.
• Develop migration timelines, identify dependencies, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure a smooth transition.
• Recommend and implement enhancements to migration processes, tools, and templates to drive efficiency and consistency across projects.
• Serve as a resource and escalation point for Client Services Specialists (CSSs) assigned to individual tasks within a portfolio migration.
• Maintain accurate migration trackers, status updates, and client-facing deliverables, ensuring they are updated in real time for visibility.
• Anticipate and address potential challenges before they escalate, coordinating with appropriate departments for resolution.
• Understand and manage unique portfolio requirements (e.g., client-specific Yardi instances, banking arrangements, MSAs, and third-party integrations).

Senior Client Services Specialist

• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports and bank reconciliation’s in accordance with owner deadline/requirements while adhering to policies and procedures and maintaining adequate internal controls
• Perform cash management functions, initiate and post journal entries, and research & resolve issues as needed
• Analyze expenses and prepare accruals based on budget
• Review accounts payable activity & cash balances and select invoices for payment
• Perform monthly general ledger account analysis and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Prepare audit-related requests and other duties as assigned
