Backend Engineer

• Define and execute the engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with product and business goals and enabling the team to deliver effectively at scale
• Partner with the VP Technology and VP Product to translate roadmap priorities into executable engineering plans
• Define and execute the technical strategy for our high-performance, low-latency backend services (Prebid Server, Yield Manager, data ingestion), ensuring scalability and reliability
• Lead, coach, and grow developers, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and high performance
• Own org design across the team — headcount planning, team structure, hiring pipelines, and onboarding
• Hold team members accountable for outcomes, addressing underperformance directly and effectively when needed
• Design and continuously improve the systems, processes, and rituals that keep the team aligned, unblocked, and consistently delivering
• Establish clear development KPIs and hold the team accountable for delivery, quality, and velocity metrics
• Identify and remove systemic blockers across products and developers before they become bottlenecks
• Establish clear ownership and decision-making frameworks to ensure alignment and reduce friction
• Drive a culture of technical excellence — code quality, system reliability, scalable architecture, and sound engineering practices

• You'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience, driving adoption, and helping them realize continuous value
• Guide new publisher partners through a smooth, structured onboarding experience
• Provide tailored training and documentation to set clients up for success from day one
• Manage a portfolio of enterprise-level global publisher partnerships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic consultant
• Own day-to-day communication with assigned accounts and monitor customer health proactively
• Stay close to your partners' performance data to surface insights, flag risks, and drive action
• Deliver regular check-ins and QBRs that clearly demonstrate value and progress
• Proactively identify opportunities to optimize publisher relationships, grow revenue, and strengthen Assertive Yield’s customer partnerships
• Drive Assertive Yield initiatives through a consultative, solutions-oriented approach
• Collaborate with Sales on upsell opportunities and ensure timely, successful renewals
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, surfacing trends and feedback that matter
• Work closely with the Product team to inform the roadmap and shape solutions that deliver lasting value to our publisher partners

Customer Success Account Manager – CSAM

Account Executive

• Drive net-new revenue across key publisher and supply-side targets, owning the full sales cycle from outreach to signed agreement.
• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, discovery, demos, negotiation, and closing
• Identify and target ideal clients, including enterprise publishers, app developers, networks, SSPs, and digital media companies.
• Build and manage a strong outbound pipeline through research, industry insights, and creative outreach strategies.
• Run high-quality demos that communicate the company’s value across optimization, yield management, auction efficiency, and revenue performance.
• Forecast accurately, maintain rigorous CRM hygiene, and communicate deal progress and blockers with clarity
• Collaborate with the COO, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to refine GTM strategy and messaging
• Represent the company at industry events, webinars, conferences, and client meetings
• Stay current on market trends, including SPO, supply chain transparency, AI-driven optimization, and overall programmatic monetization dynamics.

Sales Executive

Sales Engineer

• Lead detailed technical conversations during client meetings, pitches, and product demonstrations, translating product capabilities (e.g., Yield Manager, Prebid solutions) into clear, measurable business value.
• Capable of running technical workshops and discovery sessions independently, without requiring sales support.
• Own the full RFI/RFP process, including building and maintaining a structured response framework from the ground up to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely submission.
• Conduct in-depth pre-sales vetting to assess client needs, define integration requirements, scope the project's complexity, and prevent the pursuit of non-viable proposals.
• Ensure a smooth technical handover of new clients to Customer Success and TAM teams, documenting all pre-sales commitments, custom requirements, and technical prerequisites.
• Maintain deep, current knowledge of Assertive Yield's full product suite and the broader publisher monetization ecosystem, including header bidding, ad servers, SSPs, identity solutions, and industry standards.
• Act as an internal consultant to ensure onboarding initiatives are executed effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Surface best practices to improve customer performance and retention. Maintain a structured pre-sales feedback loop with Product and Engineering to directly influence AY's roadmap based on patterns identified during the sales cycle.
