About the role
- Own opportunity identification and product strategy
- Identify, size, and prioritize high-impact opportunities grounded in customer insight, market dynamics, product analytics, and win-loss analysis
- Clearly articulate the customer problem, business value, differentiation, and success metrics through concise, evidence-backed initiative briefs
- Define and maintain product vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned to Assent’s business goals
- Make informed trade-off and investment decisions to maximize value realization
- Collaborate with fellow Product Managers and Product Leaders to align strategy, priorities, and sequencing across the broader product portfolio
- Build data-centric and AI-enabled products in a complex domain
- Develop a deep understanding of Assent’s data ecosystem, including supply chain data, regulatory content, and customer-generated signals
- Identify opportunities where automation, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities can meaningfully improve customer outcomes, efficiency, and scalability
- Partner with Engineering, Data, and Design to shape intelligent, trustworthy solutions that balance rigor, usability, and transparency
- Navigate evolving regulations, ambiguous requirements, and imperfect data to deliver resilient and scalable product capabilities
- Drive outcomes through strong product craft and execution
- Lead discovery with Design and Engineering to ensure solutions are desirable, viable, feasible, and usable
- Synthesize complex inputs into clear, referenceable product documentation that enables alignment and effective execution
- Partner with Product Owners to translate strategy into well-structured epics, stories, and acceptance criteria
- Guide delivery through continuous collaboration, scope refinement, and timely decision-making
- Oversee Pilot and Early Access phases and evaluate success using clear metrics, data, and customer feedback
- Collaborate and influence across the business
- Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and GTM teams on pricing, positioning, launches, and adoption
- Communicate roadmaps, priorities, and outcomes clearly to internal and external audiences
- Champion your products while remaining closely attuned to customer and stakeholder feedback
- Support critical customer escalations, balancing urgency, impact, and long-term product health.
Requirements
- Eight or more years of Product Management experience in a SaaS environment
- Proven ability to drive commercial outcomes, not just deliver features
- Strong product judgment and comfort making decisions with imperfect information
- Experience building or evolving data-centric products; exposure to AI-enabled capabilities is a strong plus
- Deep experience collaborating with Engineering and Design in empowered product teams
- A collaborative product mindset; you take ownership of your area while contributing to the success of the broader Product Management team
- Comfort influencing across functions and levels with clarity and credibility
- Experience in supply chain, product compliance, sustainability, manufacturing, or other regulated domains is a strong plus
- High standards for product quality, clarity of thinking, and execution
- A genuine desire to build products that create positive real-world impact.
