About the role

  • You will have full responsibility for the performance and growth of the business, overseeing operations from order entry through shipping, with accountability for P&L, operational efficiency, customer experience, safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Play a critical role in driving Lean manufacturing principles, strengthening operational discipline, and partnering cross-functionally to grow the Door and Frame business in alignment with Door Group
  • Lead all manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, inventory control, labor planning, and equipment maintenance
  • Drive operational excellence through Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics (output, efficiency, downtime, quality, and cost) to identify improvement opportunities
  • Oversee order entry, customer service, production planning, and forecasting to meet customer demand
  • Ensure consistent achievement of production, quality, safety, and cost targets while maintaining a long-term strategic view
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership team in partnership with site HR
  • Drive a strong culture of safety, accountability, and employee engagement
  • Develop and execute effective retention, succession, and workforce planning strategies
  • Be a visible, accessible leader who coaches and mentors teams across shifts
  • Foster a collaborative, respectful, and performance-driven work environment
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across departments to achieve company objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and corporate policies, AADG programs, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Proven senior leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (metal forming experience a plus)
  • Strong background in manufacturing operations, including production planning, quality, cost control, and continuous improvement
  • Solid financial acumen, including P&L ownership and understanding of financial statements
  • Experience coaching and mentoring teams, willingness to be physically present leader who is accessible and visible during shifts
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage metrics, forecasting, and reporting to drive performance
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
