About the role

  • Oversee warehouse functions—from inventory management and production to staffing and safety.
  • Ensure efficient workflows and exceptional service levels.
  • Guide and develop warehouse and driver teams.
  • Uphold operational and safety standards.
  • Step in as acting General Manager when needed.
  • Maintain a courteous, customer service-oriented attitude.
  • P&L management including reviewing operational cost, budget performance and variance.
  • Monitor targets of key performance metrics and profitability of HUB door center.
  • Staffing, development, training, direction, and supervision hourly team members.
  • Coordinate assembly, work schedules, and warehouse operations to ensure service leads are met.
  • Establish and enforce operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Ensure the availability of parts required for warehouse assembly and production.

Requirements

  • College education or related experience.
  • Demonstrable supervisory, leadership, and motivational skills.
  • Experience with continuous improvement, Kanban, Gemba, and KPIs strongly preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word.
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license (including endorsements/class requirements as per State & DOT regulations).
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical and maintain a DOT medical card during employment.
  • Motor vehicle report must meet Amarr driver standards.
  • Clear and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Organizational, time management and analytical skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude / power tools.
