About the role
- Provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for pediatric specialty services at American Family Children’s Hospital
- Oversees program growth, financial performance, and people management across the pediatric continuum of care
- Leads specialized areas including Child Life, Pediatric Trauma & Child Advocacy, Ambulatory Pediatric Specialties, and the Diagnostic & Therapy Center
- Drives operational efficiency, margin improvement, and ambulatory redesign initiatives
- Leads and develops leaders (4 direct reports) with a strong focus on people management and change leadership
- Partners closely with medical faculty and system stakeholders to ensure high-quality, evidence-based pediatric care
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing Required
- 5 years relevant leadership experience Required
- 5 years relevant leadership experience in pediatrics Preferred
- Experience in a large academic or complex healthcare system, including Level 1 Trauma Center services and pediatric surgical patients Preferred
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
