About the role
- You will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy of financial reporting, and compliance with accounting principles.
- You will work closely with senior management to provide insights into the financial health of the company and contribute to financial decision-making.
- Preparation and review of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets for each division.
- Ensure that all financial information is accurate, consistent, and compliant with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and other relevant regulations.
- Actively participate in the completion of audit engagements, working closely with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting.
- Assist senior analysts and controllers in preparing financial forecasts and budgets.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the controller Month-End close & Financial analysis:
- General ledger reconciliations, recording journal entries, posting allocations, and accruals.
- Prepare payroll summaries.
- Complete monthly closing activities, including balance sheet and bank accounts reconciliations.
- Perform month-over-month Profit and Loss analysis, identifying and explaining variances, and comparing results against the budget.
- Collaborate with the finance controller to review financial results, implement process improvements, and document accounting procedures.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
- Proficiency in NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel and working knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) Contribute to AI-readiness in Finance, helping evaluate the impact of AI tools on financial processes.
- Passion for innovation in finance, including automation, data-driven decision making, and emerging AI applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal English is essential
