About the role

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive content calendar across all digital channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging and strategic alignment with marketing goals
  • Create engaging social media posts and copy for LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
  • Write high-quality blog articles, white papers, case studies, and thought leadership pieces that position the company as an industry authority
  • Draft press releases and media communications that effectively convey company news and milestones
  • Provide content direction to the design team for visual assets, infographics, carousels, and other multimedia content
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify content opportunities and gather subject matter expertise
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure written content and visual elements work harmoniously
  • Monitor content performance metrics and use data-driven insights to refine content strategy
  • Conduct content audits and competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging content formats
  • A to B test content approaches to continuously improve engagement and conversion rates

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Experience: 3+ years of content marketing with a proven track record of creating diverse content types in B2B (ideally SaaS)
  • Writing Excellence: Exceptional writing and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms
  • Social Media Expertise: Deep understanding of social media platforms, best practices, and content optimization strategies
  • SEO Knowledge: Solid understanding of SEO principles and how to optimize content for search engines
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred: Experience in B2B SaaS
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc.)
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media analytics platforms)
  • Understanding of content distribution and promotion strategies
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal, and at least a professional level of French is essential
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
