About the role
- Train, develop, and lead the Power Systems engineering team
- Design, integrate, test, and commission advanced control systems for electric utilities
- Evaluate contract specifications and define project requirements
- Communicate detailed requirements to internal departments
- Work directly with customers and remote engineering team members
- Perform customer training and consult on power system modeling
- Assist in creating project and product documentation
- Perform unit testing and tuning
- Support live customer systems using knowledge of power systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Master’s degree preferred, with an emphasis in Power Systems
- Detailed practical understanding of energy management systems
- Applies extensive technical expertise spanning power system management solutions
- Strong technical background with at least 12 years of relevant experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Superior organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to multi-task on several projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability and flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites
- Strong commitment to providing superior customer service
