About the role

  • Train, develop, and lead the Power Systems engineering team
  • Design, integrate, test, and commission advanced control systems for electric utilities
  • Evaluate contract specifications and define project requirements
  • Communicate detailed requirements to internal departments
  • Work directly with customers and remote engineering team members
  • Perform customer training and consult on power system modeling
  • Assist in creating project and product documentation
  • Perform unit testing and tuning
  • Support live customer systems using knowledge of power systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • Master’s degree preferred, with an emphasis in Power Systems
  • Detailed practical understanding of energy management systems
  • Applies extensive technical expertise spanning power system management solutions
  • Strong technical background with at least 12 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to multi-task on several projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites
  • Strong commitment to providing superior customer service
